What is the worst thing that can happen when you are waiting for a car to be shipped?

Oh there’s plenty that can go wrong. Delays due to supply chain issues, unexpected dealer markups, or even logistics problems that push your delivery back weeks or months. Worst-case scenario? The truck arrives damaged or gets mysteriously "sold" to someone else because the dealer wanted more money. Have you gotten a firm shipping timeline or are they being vague?
