I am planning to buy the Sierra EV as a daily driver and as a backup car for my hauling business. Is this worth it? Is this the right truck for the right job? I think the Siera can carry up to 1,300 pounds of payload. Need your insights about this one. At max capacity how far do you think it will take me in the real world?

It can haul up to 1k pounds, but that's not confirmed since they haven't tried it in the real world yet. The ICE Sierra is a good truck, so you'll have no problem with hauling stuff with it. I'm not so sure about this EV Sierra yet though...

Well, Sierra Ice has nothing to prove, it is a dependable workhorse. Yet, Sierra EV will have to be tested if it does inherit the characteristics of Sierra Ice. That would be a good wait. Keep us posted.

Those range numbers are probably just for the best-case scenario. If you're hauling a lot, you'll definitely get less range, maybe 20-30% less.

But hey, the fast-charging is a lifesaver! You won't be stuck waiting around forever.

If you're gonna be hauling a lot, you should check out some apps that can help you figure out how far you can actually go. And make sure you know where to find chargers on your usual routes.

The Sierra EV could be a great fit for your needs as a daily driver and for hauling. Its 1,300-pound payload capacity is solid, but at max capacity, you might see real-world range drop to around 250–300 miles from the estimated 400. Factors like terrain, weather, and driving habits will also impact this. If your hauls are short-to-medium distances, it should work well, especially with its smooth ride and low maintenance costs...

The Sierra EV could be great for daily driving and light hauling, but check if its payload and range work for your needs. If you're hauling lighter loads and doing shorter trips it's a solid choice. For heavier or more frequent hauling it might not be the best fit. Just a thought!

That could totally work as your daily driver and even help out with your business, especially since it can haul 1,300 pounds. For real-world range when you're hauling that much, you might get around 200-250 miles, depending on the weather and stuff. It's a solid truck, but just keep an eye on how often you're maxing out the payload, as it could affect your range a bit.
